About Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Discovered on Mount Kurama by Mikao Usui, a mystic that lived from 1865-1926, the word Reiki itself means “Universal Life Force Energy.” A Reiki master is attuned to the Energy and given symbols over time through levels of teaching, for each type of Reiki they learn, to use for specific purposes for healing.
